The game is the day after tomorrow, thought we should get the GDT rolling. The Texans come into Gillette as huge underdogs, but I wouldn't be surprised if the game was tougher and closer than most expect.

The Texans had a putrid offense for most of the year, including being shut-out @ NE by a Patriots team starting its 3rd strong QB, but their D was much more impressive.

The Patriots are 7-1 against the Texans all time, including a 41-28 win in the Divisional round of the 2012 play-offs.

A game plan of avoiding Clowney and Mercilus would save years off my life.

I'll always be uneasy when literally everyone is picking us to win and the fact that were a 16 point favorite.

With that being said, the Patriots are rolling and couldn't ask for better health(besides Gronk). Bennett has been removed from the injury report, seems like the week off was big for him. Amendola looks to be moving well from the clips I've seen of practice.

With last years line, I'd be concerned about Houston's D-Line. Not this year, and I think that's ultimately going to be the difference.

31-14 Patriots.

The offense should gameplan to take the pass rush out of the equation. I think Jules will have a big game working the middle, and Marty and the receiving backs probably get a lot of tread too. I see the screen game being big.

Defensively, dare Oswieler to throw it.

Texans D will have some success but the Pats still win this one going away. Their offense is REALLY bad.

I'm always scared when the Pats go up against a generally worse team. We always seem to flop or play an overly controlled game, making the game too close for comfort.

That said, unless Osweiler has been blessed by the Eli/Flacco playoff gods, this shouldn't be a hard win.

Im expecting this to come out like gangbusters. Look the texans are better than what we originally played them but so are we.

When football kicksoff every year im always counting down the days till January. This is the best Tom Brady we have had entering the postseason since 07. Im genuinely excited for whats next.

LETS GOOOOOOOOO

Me too but only when it's a good D, especially when that team got some good pass rushers.

When the Patriots face the Texans tonight, Tom Brady will break a record of his own just by stepping on the field, and then hell break more of his own records as the game goes on. Brady will be playing in the 32nd postseason game of his career, which is the most in NFL history. Hes the first player ever to play the equivalent of two full seasons in the postseason.

Mitchell out but Amendola has been in practice all week. Pretty much a straight swap.
