Should have been done the moment SD lost to Cleveland.

This can't possibly be an autocorrect for Asante Samuel.....

I'm sure he will find a job as an OC without a problem.

The Chargers team has talent but it seems exceedingly difficult to succeed there over the past decade. I wonder if moving to L.A. can help the culture there...

Come to Chicago please. If we're keeping Fox and adding a new QB this would be a good move.

Talk about a HC who found multiple ways to lose leads in the fourth quarter.

It's all for nothing if they keep Pagano.

You don't like Mike or you actually want some competition for once?

I thought the Chargers should have probably fired him in 2014, TBH. That Chargers team started off red hot and fell off so hard, culminating in a week 17 loss to the Chase Daniel-lead Chiefs that knocked the Chargers out of the playoff race. In 2013 Chase Daniel and the Chiefs backups also should have knocked the Chargers from the playoff race, but the refs missed an illegal formation on Ryan Succop's game winning FG attempt. The kick was missed and the Chargers won in overtime. McCoy basically allowed Chase Daniel to bully his team out of the playoffs twice. Oof.

I know he was dealt a bad hand with two consecutive years of major injuries, but a Phillip Rivers-lead team should always be near .500, IMO. The Chargers could really be a dangerous team in 2017 if they hire a good HC.

As for Mike McCoy, he should easily find a job somewhere as an OC, and I wouldn't be surprised to see him eventually get a second chance somewhere as a HC.

Denver is going to need a new OC. Its time for McCoy to come back to the Broncos.

The only good offense he's ever coordinated had Peyton Manning at QB, so not sure there's much reason to hype him as a coordinator.

Didn't he leave before Manning got there? Thought he only coached Orton and Tebow.

He was the OC for Manning's first season there, 2012.
