We won in spite of our offense. We now hold the tiebreaker for the division and should make the playoffs.

Sometimes all you need to do is to beat the rest of your division. Yay tiebreakers.

The Chiefs could help a lot to make things easier next week, though. Broncos dropped the ball.

Darn. I want a superb owl. I only have this POS barn owl. Hedwig would be a major upgrade.

This team would be so damn good with an average QB

Come on KC, beat those Tacks

If that happens and we win the next two weeks, we win the division and can rest guys week 17.

God bless the AFC South. As absurd as it is that Rick Smith still has his job and an extension after a decade of failed roster building, how the heck does Colts GM Ryan Grigson still have a job after being gifted Andrew Luck on a platter and completely squandering it ever since. Sure, Polian left the Colts in a cap nightmare, but they were handed a get out of jail free card with Peyton's injury helping them reset the cap with a generational talent at QB and a first draft that also brought bargains in Fleener, Allen, Hilton to go with HOFer Reggie Wayne and a trade for Vontae Davis to supplement HOFers Freeney & Mathis. Pagano is on board at coach with a proven ability to win with defense as Raven's DC, so fix the o-line & interior d-line and add some LB and you have another dynasty, especially in a terrible division.

What has happened since is straight out of the Rick Smith handbook of how to destroy a team. Flush with tons of money under the cap he proceeded to overspend on marginal contributors from good teams who flopped as full-time starters, and when that failed miserably, overreacted and vastly overspent on "name" vets far past their prime. They get a few one and done playoff appearances out of Luck but when he gets hurt last year, the complete lack of talent elsewhere on the roster from 3 straight awful draft classes becomes apparent. They resign Luck to a $140 million deal and Grigson proceeds to cry about having to build a roster with one player eating up so much of the cap and now they are back in Polian-era cap hell and another draft class of non contributors.

Meanwhile, as you could see in all of it's glory today they have a coach in Pagano who's biggest contribution was serving as an "inspirational leader" from a cancer ward for the 2012 season with Bruce Arians lead them to an improbably fast turnaround. He went off to Arizona the next season and took any Colts offensive innovation with him leaving the Colts with a defensive coach who's unit is perennially amongst the leagues worst. Kind of reminds you of O'Brien's offenses that have gotten worse each season he has been here, huh?

God Bless the AFC South part 2.

Jags are the just the Florida Browns with slightly less incompetent QB play and corrupt ownership and I'm pretty sure Jeff Fisher and the Adams family Titans reached some sort of deal with the NFL to let Jeff Fisher continue to coach the Titans while taking on a 2nd job for the NFL to destroy the Rams to get them to LA. (They tried it once before with Casserly trying to tank the Texans 06 draft on his way out the door to a high profile NFL office job & handing USC hero Reggie Bush to the LA bound Saints, except it backfired when Payton & Brees rallied the team and the city and bizzarro Casserly going against his every known instinct accidentally produced the best draft in Texans history.) Mularkey occasionally goes rougue and lets Mariota effectively play QB, but if that Harry Douglas cheap shot at Harris' knees wasn't proof that Jeff Fisher isn't secretly phoning in plays, I don't know what is. I PROMISE you, Kendall Wright was benched this week because he refused to implement the Jeff Fisher/Gregg Williams inspired knee capping strategy.

I promise to NEVER AGAIN bash Rick Smith if for our week 17 matchup with the Titans he goes full on Syracuse Bulldogs vs. Charleston Chiefs counter-strategy on the Titans and resigns every goon on the waiver wire, Slapshot style. Bernard "Dr. ACL" Pollard has to be our McKracken and maybe we could get Albert Haynesworth to grab some Redkins gear and bring his big tomahawk out of retirement. Finnegan is looking for work, so he could be brought out as well, altho AJ fared better than poor Denny Pratt (RIP). Chuck Cecil is currently coaching cheap shot tactics for DBs with Jeff Fisher (of course), but maybe we could borrow him for game prep as I think he is personally responsible for at least 50 cases of CTE in his playing and coaching career. I want to hear whatever Z-team level announcers that draw our game to have to recount the "litigation, notoriety, and deportation to Canada and their refusal to accept him" as Bill "Oglethorpe" Romanowski struts out in full 90's "supplement-rage" glory and spits in Mariota's face on the first play and gouges out Murray's eyeball on the 2nd. "AFC Personal Fouls Leader 09-13" Antonio Smith can take out the lineman Mawae-Incognito style, so we've already taken a step in the right direction. We know that game has field goal-fest written all over it anyway, so maybe in honor of the recently departed Buddy Ryan, we can send someone out there to take out Ryan Succup on the opening kickoff, although the bounty is going to have to be higher than the $700 Ryan spent to take out Zendejas & Aikman (during their 1-15 season no less).

As much as I love JJ Watt, I would trade him for a QB like Andrew Luck
