Sherman was terrible in the 3rd.

I blame the offense more. 26 yards was pathetic. No rest for the defense.

escape with a W. That's all that matters. Missing a 29 yd fg & having an xtra pt blocked in the 4th qtr & still making enough plays to win is houdiniesque. RW is definitely hurting. He can't and won't run.

ET's not playing so deep anymore which I like. He was 13-15 yds off the line of scrimmage vs seriously, the 25-30 that he'd been playing. He can now be an impact & is showing it. Dislodged balls, was there for hits & could intercept a deflected ball. We're now playing 11 on 11.

Paramount game and this win & potential tie-breaker could be beneficial down the road if both teams win their respective divisions.

I'll take it.

Clear hands to the face by Julio on the Falcons' last offensive play

Just evidence the refs let them play ball/ammo for people saying we shouldn't have won

Also a horrendous block in the back by their LG

I missed the second half. I had no choice.

I heard that Sherman blew two plays on bad or wrong coverage.

TRUE?

Hell of a game! Sorry I couldn't post during it, I was there.

It was a pretty classic Seahawks game. We come out roaring in the 1st half, clearly playing up to our competition and punching them in the mouth for thinking they're on our level. Defense was playing tremendous and really beating up their OLine.

We come out of half time having made zero adjustments, whereas the Falcons had a new game plan. They designed quick throws and specifically focused on getting Matt Ryan out of the pocket. We didn't adjust.

Then, in the 4th, Russell turns on some last minute magic and the defense gets a timely turnover. That felt more like the 2013 Hawks.

Story of the game IMO is the awakening of Earl Thomas III. Finally! I'm not sure what you guys saw on TV, if it was anything we were doing different from a scheme standpoint, but dude was playing with his hair on fire. That is the Earl you expect on Sundays. He was playing with confidence, imposing his will over the middle, and making timely plays when we needed them most. My theory was that he just felt more comfortable roaming around in coverage with Kelcie McCray back their with him, as opposed to being responsible for more coverage when Kam is in. Anyone see something that stood out?

Jimmy Graham is borderline unstoppable. It's nice to see him playing so well, but I wish Bevell would do a better job of using Graham's success to get his WRs open.

Barely got away with the W, but it feels good to get it!
