Our needs in order:

CB (Fred Thomas gives up big plays, by far #1 need)
DT (Nothing spectacular on our interior line)
ILB (starter for the future)
OL (Depth)
...
...
WR... even if I don't believe it's a glaring need

Wow did everyone forget taht we signed a MLB in Simmons? And Fujita is more than capable LB and Shanle, though not the most talented, is still good enough to be a 2nd-3rd round need at worst.

#1-CB-Fred Thomas, need I say more?
#2-DT-Thomas is getting up there and might not be back after next year
#3-WR-Joe Horn is gone and Copper is just barely adequate as a #2. We could upgrade over Copper in even the 4th round with someoen that might fall such as Steve Smith or Rhema McKnight while Devery Henderson is best served as a slot reciever.
#4-DE-With Grants situation up in the air and him possibly leaving as he'll more than likely be disgruntled after talking to Tampa, DE will be a need either this year or next.
#5-LB-Like I stated above Fujita and Shanle are very capable of starting but we can always get more talented.
#6-K-How much longer is he going to stick around?
#7-OL-We just need Depth
#8-QB-If Brees goes down we are left with Jamie Martin. He's a solid veteran that can run the team for a few games. Heck he even almost beat the Carolina starters with our junk players so I'm not too worried about this right now but it would be nice to grab someone on day 2... maybe the Boise State QB, Troy Smith, or someone that's not Leak.

We need a new MLB because Simmons is an old pro and we need some good talent for the future

The Boise State QB is Jared Zabransky you're thinking of Troy Smith, QB, Ohio State. Either way i'd like 'em both

I know Troy Smith is Ohio State I just didn't know Jared's Name and I had just use a comma and put Troy Smith there afterwards as in a 2nd QB. I really don't want Chris Leak unless it's as an UDFA. I think he was a product of an amazing WR corp and their system as since they lacked a running game all those short screen passes padded his stats.

everybody agrees, the #1 need is CB, but how can you put WR before DT?
Do you even see one playmaker in our DTs ?

Brian Young sacks when Smith & Grant grab the foot of Mike Vick for an hour, and do you remember our DTs against the bears? no? me neither
