Steelers 2007 Mock Draft
Trades: Pittsburgh Steelers trade First Rounder [#15 overall], Third Rounder [#77 overall], and Fourth Rounder [#115 overall] to the Atlanta Falcons for their First Rounder [#10 overall].

Round One, Pick 10
Gaines Adams, OLB, Clemson University

Round Two, Pick 46
Brandon Siler, ILB, University of Florida

Round Four, Compensation [a.]
Manuel Ramirez, OG, Texas Tech

Round Four, Compensation [b.]
Ryan McBean, DE, Oklahoma State

Round Five, Pick 146
Thomas Clayton, RB, Kansas State

Round Six, Pick 175
Daniel Sepulveda, P, Baylor

Round Seven, Pick 208
Luke Getsy, QB, Akron

Notes: The Steelers received a fourth round selection for Antwaan Randle El and a fourth round selection for Chris Hope.

Also, if you have any questions about any of my selections, just ask me and I will let you know my explanation for the selection.

Edit: I forgot to ask one last thing. If you are going to comment on my draft, give me actual reasons why you like or kdislike my draft. Don't just say things like, "This draft sucks", "Never make a draft again", "I have it", etc. I just want constructive criticism.

Agreed, back to the drawing board. After Adams, everyone is a huge reach where you have them going.

I know where you are coming from. But, I thought it was possible for us to trade up because we don't have as many needs.

As for him dropping, I saw this scenario happening in this case:

1. Oakland Raiders Jamarcus Russell, QB, LSU
2. Detroit Lions Brady Quinn, QB, Notre Dame
3. Cleveland Browns Joe Thomas, OT, Wisconsin
4. Tampa Bay Buccaneers Calvin Johnson, WR, Georgia Tech
5. Arizona Cardinals Jamaal Anderson, DE, Arkansas
6. Washington Redskins Amobi Okoye, DT, Louisville
7. Minnesota Vikings LaRon Landry, FS, LSU
8. Houston Texans Adrian Peterson, RB, Oklahoma
9. Miami Dolphins Levi Brown, OT, Penn. St.

Gaines would still be availabe in that situation.

No to the trade up. Gaines Adams isn't going to fall to ten anyway.

There's going to be a run on OL in the top of the 2nd. Oakland, Cleveland, Arizona all need one if they don't get one in the 1st. OG Manuel Ramirez is going in the 3rd, no way he drops two and a half rounds.

We're not going to get two 4th round comp picks.

Why take a DE with the 4th comp pick when our DE's are very good and signed long term?

Adams wont fall to 10...Anderson may.

Brandon Siler is decent....Doesnt play the pass well struggles to beat blocks. Basically a 2 down player in the second round

Rameriez is Kemo 2...Just not athletic enough to play in the NFL

Mcbean has potential...He is more of a 34 player

Thomas Clayton awful character...1 Tool back..Cant catch or block

Daniel Spedevula...First pick I like

Getsy sucks.

I admire the effort...Cringe at the picks

I think if you swap Gaines Adams and Jamaal Anderson in that mock, that is more realistic.... And as we've seen in the past, if the Steelers really want Anderson, it certainly wouldn't shock me if they move up to get him....fans will go nuts just like they did when we got Troy Laughing
