Picking up some speed - we'll have much more clarity after next weekend's games.

They can still win the division and then make it to the big dance .. or lose out and finish last ...

Updated after week 16.

The final 3 playoff spots will be decided between DEN, PIT, and NYJ (two of these teams will make it) and HOU and IND (This may come down to the strength of victory- tiebreaker).

Updated after the Monday night game - it was so close.

Denver is in - the only decisions left are:

IND or HOU?
PIT or NYJ?

The seeding is interesting:

DEN can still take the #1 seed (or #3) if they win
NE can be #1 or #2
CIN can be #2 or #3

For the Chiefs it's still #3, #5, or #6

I'm fine with Denver winning tonight. I was talking to a Denver fan at work today, and I honestly wasn't sure whether I wanted them to win or lose. As nice as it would be to have a home playoff game and take the division from Denver, I'm so much more comfortable with the #5 seed than the #3 one, with how things are getting set. I'd also rather face Denver in the playoffs than Pittsburgh.

Pittsburgh scares me more than anyone, so keeping them out is good. Houston scares me the least, so getting them to start would be really nice.

Honestly, I would rather be the 5th seed at this point. It'd be nice to win the division but that seems like a long shot after monday night. we can go to houston and should win that game. Then hopefully the other WC team (NYJ or PITT) will be the Broncos and we can play Cinncy.

Healthy Houston, Hali, and Abdullah plus a MUCH improved Peters against Weeden?

Same matchup as week one. Reid certainly will never win that matchup, but we're good enough elsewhere to make up for it.

Wasn't Fisher still playing RT week one?

Fisher didn't start that game. He was active, but had an ankle issue, so we just kept him as a reserve in case Stephenson or Reid went down. Reid got the start at RT. Looked meh against Watt, but really, Watt hurt us the most when we got cute and tried not to block him (bootlegs, runs away from him, read option, etc.)
