Think Saints might offer a 4th round choice to swap places with a team ahead of them in 3rd round?
Still leaves Saints with 2 in 4th round.

I would do it, I would much rather two 3rds, and two 4ths, than 1 third, and three fourths

I think you missed the point. Move up in the third, not get another one.

There is always a few good players that slip to the 2nd day, top of the 4th. why not wait & see how slipped to the 2nd day & package 2 lower 4th round picks for a high 4th round come draft day?

I think the Saints will use a couple of the 4th to move up in the 1st...

or at least I hope they do.

I know that Chris Houston seems to be high on everyone's list and there are several teams in front of us that need a CB.

what about this trade.

Saints #27, 122, 123

for

Jags #17

The Saints would move ahead of Cincy, NY Giants and others to move up to grab Chris Houston or whoever they see as the best available CB

The Jaguars would never agree to that trade. There's still about 170 points we would have to make up for. We would probably have to throw in our 3rd round pick too.

what if there is no value at CB when our picks come up? do we reach for a CB just to fill a need? I think that we will regret not getting a CB in FA.
