Are you serious? Why the hell would we want another safety with Taylor, Bowen, Lott, Clark and Prioleau. I just don't get it, what's the terms of the deal?

ESPN was the source, we signed him to a 1yr 500+k deal.
So now we have great depth at Safety and Linebacker. Hall is decent when he's not injured and Greg Williams loves to rotate players in and out to always give the offense confusing and idfferent looks.

I am in favor of the signing as long as he stays healthy.

There is no guarentee that Bowen will ever fully recover from his injury so signing Hall was a smart move even with Pierson Prielou on deck.

I'm thinking at least on of these safeties will be cut sometime after training camp because I can't see us using 6 roster spots on safeties.

I don't mind it because it's so short term and inexpensive, but the guy is not a great player. There's a thread in the Falcons forum that says it all. Something to the effect of "Hall was a terrible safety." I don't think that is necessarily true, but he hasn't really impressed me the times I've seen him play.
