| really where is the source? He's the best D-coordinator in the NFL. He really gets the most out of his players, this shown in countless examples (e.g. Trotter, Barber, Emmons, and Taylor just to name a few). |

Congrats to the Eagles for making a VERY smart move. (and I should also mention that extension earlier this year to Andy Reid was pretty smart too)
A few years ago when I saw what Jim Johnson was doing with that defense, I immediately became an Eagles fan. Very exciting defense to watch, and the fact that Sheppard, Brown AND Lewis will be in that backfield for the next few years is a darn good reason to continue enjoying that defense (hopefully Dawkins sticks around and stays healthy, great FS, and fun to watch also)
Heh, as a Vikings fan I almost have to admit in some ways it sucks because I would have liked to have seen (assuming Tice gets fired next year with ownership change) Johnson get the head coaching job here, especially with all the new defensive players the Vikings have picked up, he could practically move on to Minnesota and not skip a beat with his defensive domination. Of course it still "could" happen, but its a lot less likely now.
Good move by the Eagles, and it'll be more reason to watch/tape their games for the next 4 years. _________________

I think its awesome that we got johnson for 4 more years, hes done an outstanding job with the defense and it'll only improve to be the best for the years to come. _________________

That would be cool, but I'm not about to tell one of the best D. cordinators how to do his job. _________________
