@RapSheet: The @NFL has officially gone to 10 practice squad players, which GMs are celebrating. More players to develop, easier to hold guys you like

I'm more curious as to when they will increase the roster size and game day active roster.

But, this is a start as injuries pile up and the need to develop players.

Part of this new agreement is that two of the ten players can have up to two accrued seasons in the NFL. That's big.

I like to see added into the right of ability to match. Some sort of way to be able to hold onto a guy if he is picked off by another team.

Isn't there already? If you add them to your 53 man ti stops another team from doing so.

I like the change. You get 53 on the roster & 10 more on practice squad. Theoretically, it should be easier for teams to build quality depth. Realistically, there aren't enough quality players out there to stock the rosters of 32 teams, so the change won't make any difference.
