To draft Brandin Cooks instead of Benjamin?

Why or why not.

I say yes. I think that due to his youth, speed, agility, and even ability in the red zone, the Panthers would have been better served.

Nope. Give me Kelvin Benjamin and Trai Turner over Brandin Cooks.

No, I'm okay with what we got in the draft. I'm only really ever in favor of a trade up when your team is already capable of winning the super bowl and you just want to get something to make it worse for everyone else OR when you really need a QB and you think you can get THE guy. Otherwise, just scout and do what they do with BPA.

I'm fine with how the draft played out. After reading more into Benjamin, I think he's what this team needs.

Not only no, but hellz no! The only position I would have traded up for was LT. Taylor Lewan was the last guaranteed LT taken and possibly Zack Martin at 16 to the Cowboys. Heck, Miami reached for a RT in Ja'Waun James at 19. The Panthers sat tight and took all of 5 seconds to make their selection. They got 2 starters and a solid back up DE. I'll take that. Trading up is all well and good, but the Panthers would have to trade a future 1st and then some to go up that high. Just look what the Bills traded to get Watkins. No thanks.

The youth argument is invalid in my opinion. As big and as athletic as KB is he will likely have a longer career than Cooks once he loses his speed. No reason to factor that. I like Cooks a lot and we could use the speed but we needed a big redzone threat and we needed help on the line which is what we did.
