Saw this on ESPN today and thought I'd share with you guys since I haven't seen any mention of him yet.

Quote:
"He's got some ability,'' Rivera said. "Some guys take a little time. The tough thing is he came from Wofford and they are notorious for being a tremendous running team. He blocks very, very well. We know he can block.

He seems to be getting a lot of recognition from Ricky Proehl Very Happy

i really don't see him making the team over benji, cotch, avant, underwood, and king. then there's philly brown who brings return ability and mcnutt who was active on gameday a handful of times last season.

probably gonna get stuck on the practice squad again.

I went to Wofford and this guy could ball, which is impressive since Wofford runs the triple option and passes the ball about 7 times a game. He has very good hands, and if he can block then all the better

More like a dark horse to make the team. He has no atrributes that make him special, he's just relatively tall.

Even if he does make the team, I cannot imagine where he'd be active unless there was an injury.

Ahead of him, at the very least, we're looking at KB, Avant, Cotchery, and Underwood.

The upside for him is that he's been in the Panthers camps for the past 3-4 seasons. The coaches could just give him a chance to prove himself on the main squad for a season.

Watching at Fan Fest, he made a couple nice plays and looks confident. Think he gets picked over McNutt. King looked good. So did Brown.

It seems like he's been really consistent and with KB out he was taking most of the reps with Cotchery and Avant. I think he has the edge on Underwood, McNutt and King.

This is how I'd like to see our depth chart for WR:

1. KB
2. Cotchery
3. Avant
4. Underwood
5. King
6. Bersin

From reports so far, Underwood might not even make the team. He's sounded like he's been awful.
