No they shouldn't. He has proven nothing as a coach, and we don't give out jobs to make because we drafted their brother.

Are you sure? I remember them hiring a babysitter for JaMarcus Russell.

who was the babysitter?

Eddie Anderson

Oh yea it was in his 3rd yr or something

Eddie Anderson was brought in to be a 'life coach', not a QB coach.

What do you guys think about letting rookie QBs sit?

love it. once upon a time QB's were groomed. Let him pick up the mental side of the NFL, get him accustomed to an NFL Locker room and when its his time he will be mentally ready to handle what comes to him.

i still see DC getting some sort of reps this year. Unless Schaub has us in playoff contention in Dec.

I would prefer this with any rookie QB if you can. Now if they outplay the rest of the guys on the roster I see no reason why they should not start and get in game experience sooner rather than later. Of course being careful that they use the oppertunity to learn and assimilate rather than stay stuck in the old(bad habits) just to keep them comfortable in order to win games.
