Anyone think that he might take Kenjon Barner's job more so than take a member of Double Trouble's job?

I hope not! That would be a pretty raw deal for Barner?

him and barner might be the new thunder and lightning a la Jacobs and bradshaw for the giants. How would Gaffney and barner compliment each other?

Gafney may get the jersey on game day over Barner if he can play st and since he can pick up blitzers.

Barner flies into air like it is an NFL Street game every time he gets hit. I don't have very high hopes for him and Gaffney should easily be able surpass him on the depth chart.

I think I'm one of the few people that like this pick. Seems like a good utility player.

I'm a fan of him as a player and he will at least add depth. Most draft analysis is based on current depth charts but a 5th rounder is likely going to take a few years to play regardless and I seriously doubt Williams and Stew will be around.

this was basically a waste of a pick. then again it was a 6th round pick, we did not need a RB at all. no way he takes time from Barner, because Barner is our only guy to return kicks at this point. i have no clue who will be returning punts.

I think this is Williams last season, there is no way around it. The following year I think we lose Stew.

They would have to make a Godfrey type paycut to continue playing for the Panthers after that in my opinion.

i hope next year they are both gone. the way drafts are shaping out now, we can get a top 5 back in the 2nd round next year.
