This really wasn't a deep OT draft to begin with so I get it end of day. Huge reach but everyone reached on offensive line talent after the mid 2nd round.

Class was deep at WR, D-Line, CB, and QB. We needed one of those things (which we got in Richardson).

Didn't take long for me to have to finally post about this draft. No doubt, I was confused as well, but this is the FO that brought us a SB ring, they've earned the "TBD," card on picks.

Lol, saying Michael was a bad pick. He was essentially red shirted last year, but when he did come in, he showed explosiveness and potential. We built to the future with that pick, not instant impact. That's sort of what you can do when we have such great depth.

Finally finished up watching everything I could on Britt.

First thing I'll say, is you can definitely tell why Cable is intrigued by working with him. He holds elite size at 6'6" 325lbs, long arms, and big heavy hands. What's impressive is the bend he still plays with at that size and his wide base. His initial kick step is very deep but that wide base and above average balance allows him to stonewall pass rushers. While he is labeled a technician, he needs to work on his consistency in some areas. He noticeably overextends off the snap at times, lunging at a defender who isn't within range to get that initial jab. He has a strong initial punch which is valuable, but he misses quite a bit on that and it causes him to lose around the edge. As a run blocker he's certainly a technician, but I wouldn't call him a mauler. He gets the job done on fundamentals, but I'd like to see more of a mean streak. Looks fluid when pulling to the 2nd level.

Overall, there's little doubt in my mind he's better on tape than Carpenter was. He should be an athletic RT who gives us leverage in Okung negotiations, which for a guy having another foot surgery is pretty valuable. He'll need work on consistency and getting stronger, but he has a lot of upside as a good athlete with elite size and an understanding for the importance of technique.

How do you guys feel about his history with injuries? Tore his ACL a couple years back, and fractured his foot last season.

I don't see either of those as an indication of being injury prone. He came back one year later and managed to not hurt his knee, so it's "like new" as far as I am concerned

Read on twitter that Schneider said that Washington were gonna take Britt instead of Moses.

Interesting. I still say Moses does not look like a good fit for a ZBS. Far too much of a plodder

How would he know that?

Said a Wash scout told one of the Seattle scouts.
