I think Nate Askew has a chance to stick with our LB core suspect behind our starters. Doing more research on Keith Lewis, man, he could be a sleeper for playing time on this roster as all DBs after the top 3 are suspect as well.

WR: It's crowded, but no gurantees besides Evans and Jackson to be honest. Herron should make the team along with Murphy, but it depends how many we carry.

And as always, if Brett Smith impresses in TC and Pre-season, gonna have a hard time sneaking him through waivers.

I like the other Aggie LB over Askew

Little early to project practice squad players, on terms they actually have to make it through waivers.

The one that stands out to me is cutting Rashan Melvin, I think he makes this team and could potentially get time. He fits perfect in what we want to do. I could seriously see Brett Smith making the roster.

I think he's a guy that if he performs, he's got starter potential ALA tony Romo in this league that you can't risk putting him through waivers to keep on PS. If he performs in the pre-season, you keep a 3rd QB. Lot of QB gurus had him as a top 50 overall talent. I would have taken him over Tom freaking Savage, who was a late 4th round pick and even Garrett Gilbert who went in the 6th. Disgusting

That's exactly my thinking, if we put Smith on PS he's as good as gone IMO. Why not cut Kafka and roll with Smith. Should be an interesting pre-season..

Quote:
Tampa Bay Buccaneers -- QB Brett Smith, Wyoming: Over his career, Smith has been told he's not quite good enough. He was the Oregon high school player of the year but Pac-12 schools passed. He rewrote the Wyoming record books but was a combine snub and went undrafted. He needs work, but look for Smith to make the Tampa roster and develop as their No. 3 QB with a huge chip on his shoulder.
