It's that time of year again, you know the drill

Quote:
**please read the instructions and information before you make your vote**

You guys should know the drill by now

But here are a few changes:

-If you vote, PLEASE in turn post in thread 1) Who you voted for 2) Who you would like to be added to the next poll

-Thread is open to discussion about anything pertaining to the rankings. You may respectfully disagree with someone's selection, but please do not "bash" or criticize someone for making a selection. I would like each selection to be made purely off of opinion, no pressure

-If you are a fan of another team just dropping by, feel free to submit a vote or join the discussion. Outside perspective is always welcome

-I will keep this going until we 1) Complete a 30 man roster 2) or interest drops off to the point where the process loses its function, in which case the amount will be rounded off. At the end I will get this stickied as the official 2013 Seahawk player rankings

1. Earl Thomas, FS, 24 years old
2. Richard Sherman, CB, 26 years old
3. Marshawn Lynch, RB, 28 Years old
4. Russell Wilson, QB, 25 years old
5. Percy Harvin, WR/KR, 26 Years old
6. Kam Chancellor, SS, 26 years old
7. Michael Bennett, DE, 28 years old
8.
9.
10.

This is where it gets really tough. Mebane, Wagner, Okung, and Unger are the next tier if you ask me, but Avril probably has an argument too.

This is for this upcoming season and I expect Okung to return to form. I'm going to take him here. Wagner has the most potentially to really explode though. I think in 2012-2013 we saw Okung and Unger's best and Mebane is only going to maintain at this point

I'd add Baldwin and Maxwell to the next poll

Agree with Wagner, think he is gonna have a huge year. Hope he is a Seahawk for a longtime.

IMO Tate should have been on this poll.

I believe we're ranking the players as we feel they stand going into the season. Obviously Tate wouldn't apply with that in mind.

Agreed that this area is extremely difficult.

I'm actually gonna go with Avril.

Yea, I think Wagner gets slightly overrated because he was drafted by the regime. I think Avril will undoubtedly have a bigger impact on this defense as our starting LEO than Wagner will have next season.

I'd say that's very doubtful

What makes you say that?

I voted Avril, he was great in the regular season and was incredible in the playoffs. The only player who had a bigger playoff stretch was Kam (its really hard to gauge a CB though, Sherm could be right in the mix as well). Maybe Wagner takes another step this year, but I personally think he gets a little overrated, I don't think he was as good this year as others think he was.

Yea, he still struggles consistently fighting off blocks from 2nd level linemen. If you take a look at a games where we were gashed on the ground (Tampa Bay for example) you'll see Bobby getting totally washed out.
