We only face 3 playoffs teams from last season. I didnt expect us to get a MNF game. _________________

With this schedule and a good to great draft....could be looking at Wild Card contention late in the season.
Early thoughts on record based on the schedule? I'll go 9-7. |

I'll go with 7-9. Marked improvement but still not there yet, need another off season to build roster talent and depth. _________________

I like the TNF/MNF back to back. It's like a mini bye week with 10 days between games.
I won't go predicting the record till after the draft _________________

We're close, but I came up with it a little different.
September 7 vs. Redskins 12:00 CST W
September 14 at Raiders 3:25 CST W
September 21 at Giants 12:00 CST ?
September 28 vs. Bills 12:00 CST W
October 5 at Cowboys 12:00 CST ?
October 9 (TNF) vs. Colts 7:25 CST ?
October 20 (MNF) at Steelers 7:30 CST W
October 26 at Titans 12:00 CST L
November 2 vs. Eagles 12:00 CST L
Week 10 BYE
November 16 at Browns 12:00 CST L
November 23 vs. Bengals 12:00 CST L
November 30 vs. Titans 12:00 CST W
December 7 at Jaguars 12:00 CST W
December 14 at Colts 12:00 CST ?
December 21 vs. Ravens 12:00 CST L
December 28 vs. Jaguars 12:00 CST W
I'm at 7 wins, and I think that they can pull out 2 of the 4 question games, at the Giants, Cowboys and one of the two Colts games.
Of course, that depends on how the draft goes. I think the team needs are QB, RT, LG, DT, ILB, Nickel CB, DE, slot WR and help/depth at OLB, DT, RB and the draft and UDFA should go a long way to 9-7. Another big need is that while getting players at the needs positions, most of these picks should be able to help on Special Teams. |
