I like all of the players except Southward and I don't complain about 7th rounders.
I just think you have the early players a bit above value.
I think you could strike a trade to move down and add an extra pick.

I am especially fond of Hubbard.

Aaron Lynch <3 I still think he is going to be a beast. Like Dingo said, good players, questionable value.

Eh I am not fond of Hubbard, I worry about a guy who easily had all the physical tools to be a good pass rusher and then wasnt at all in college.

What a haul. Love Matthews 1 and Latimer 2. Bold.

Not a huge fan of drafting WR back-to-back with so many defensive needs... but I do like Matthews and Latimer. So... I'm conflicted.

I think 3rd is early for Hubbard, but I like him. More in the 4th or 5th, though. Love Urban.

Don't think either OLB is a starter quality OLB down the road. Southward is garbage in coverage.
Would prefer a different position in the 4th. Backup DE isn't high on my list of needs.
Like the wr's, but our D did not get better at all.

When Nate Allen got resigned the safety position in the draft is no longer a high priority if we are to look at this realistically. If we aren't looking at it realistically then we can select a safety in the 2nd round and he is guaranteed to solve the problem for the next 10 years...

The linebackers were my idea of what Chip wants combined with the fact that there is a very low chance that any linebacker available at pick #22 or lower can receive significant playing time over Cole, Graham, and Barwin. So I went with large guys with high upside that can sit for a year. So I avoided taking any 1st and 2nd round guys.

WR is the only position of need that has a large amount of playing time available to whomever is added to the roster. The safety position has two vets and Wolff. That's creating another Jaiquan Jarett situation where you can't get the guy playing time because to maintain the integrity of "the best man plays" means keeping him on the bench. With the WR position, bodies are needed. There isn't much competition there and it just so happens that it's a deep position.

As for the CB position, there are already 4 good guys with NFL experience on the roster. The 5th and 6th guys can be undrafted rookie free agents or guys released from other NFL teams. That would be a wasted draft pick. There are future drafts where the CB position can be addressed when there is more of a need.

Did the Eagles really get played in this scenario if they essentially replaced Desean with Mathews and Lattimore for what a 1/4 of his 2014 salary and no more locker room distractions ? Sounds good to me unless one or both become the next Brown/Mitchell as a Eagle.

I don't see the point in drafting two receivers back to back. Even though I think WR is #1 priority, there's not really a good BPA argument for taking Latimer there. I'm sure there will be pass rushers or defensive backs worthy of that pick. Also think Hubbard in the 3rd is too high.
