..is what NFL Network is reporting.

I've never been a JF fan but wouldn't mind signing him.
Let Trestman do his thang!

I mocked him to us like 6 months ago. Makes a lot of sense.

One of my friends took him in the 2nd round a couple of years ago. Laughing

Additional reports state they are not expected to offer him a contract.

If we do happen to sign him to a contract, would he be second or third string?

Competing for 2nd string...not sure if we keep 3 QBs(maybe 1 on the PS and 2 on the active roster)

Emery likes to do a lot of checking up on guys. Remember, they worked out J'Marcus Russell too.

We could do a lot worse for a back up, and it would make a lot of sense for Freeman to get his career back on track, potentially.
I wouldn't be opposed.

He had a very solid season and one respectable season with less talent than what we have, with a much less creative offensive mind than what Marc has, so I like the idea of Marc getting to tinker with him. I just have seen multiple reports saying Josh is lazy and chronically late. That is inexcusable. If he mans up then I like the signing, if he is still acting like a teenager then no thank you.
