With the Pats rumored interest in Miles Austin (per NFLN) and their interest in Britt...makes one wonder if they are worried about Dobson's health/availability

At this point, if they sign another veteran WR, I would be surprised if it was for anything more than the vet minimum even. If I remember, last we heard was that Dobson's foot wasn't supposed to impact training camp. They have more experience and depth than they did at this point last year. As it is, Thompkins is not a roster lock.

Very excited about this. Great vet, but coming off an ACL injury. He'd be a great addition for rotation and depth.

Just out of curiosity. Will Smith's 40-yd dash time was 4.49 weighing 267lbs. Isn't that crazy fast?

Where did you get that number? Smith's predraft workouts [10 years ago] had him at 4.7

He ran a 4.6 at his pro day by every other account. I'm going to say his Wiki is wrong

Chris Johnson is going to be released. Count me in for the right price.

Mike Reiss ‏@MikeReiss 38s
Veteran safety Adrian Wilson has been informed of his release by the Patriots. He tweeted his thanks to organization earlier.

Arrington made out like a bandit. He needs to hurry up and grab #24 again so he can ransom it out to Revis now.

EDIT: and Dennard is now a free man again.
