It's official:

Would not have minded keeping him, but not surprised that he left.

Not surprising he chose to move on. Elway outright said he would have to come back at a reduced role and the team likes what they saw with Montee Ball and plan to roll with him.

In Miami, Knowshon will have a chance to compete for a larger role. Good luck to him.

Whelp... Looks like I'm in the market for a new sig now.

No but seriously... I'm happy for him to be in Miami and hope him nothing but the best. But I wonder what veteran FA were in the market for now.

His contract with the Dolphins is 1-year/$3million, a bit more than I thought that he would get. Runningbacks are not making much money in the current NFL unless they are at the top. Nearly every team has gone to a "runningback by committee" system so individual RBs aren't as valuable.

I expect the Broncos to bring in at least one more RB. Maybe they will draft a late round player (like Isaiah Crowell in the 6th if his off-field redflags aren't too bad) or sign an undrafted player as a camp body.

Too much for us to bring him back honestly. I like Knowshon, always have. I was so happy we drafted him. His season last year was a good one, but Montee is the man now.

I hope we draft Crowell though. He'd automatically be the most talented back on the roster if we did.

Yes. Let us bring in a guy who sneezes and breaks his leg. Didn't the Broncos already have this guy in camp?

There are better options for running back if they need to bring in a guy. Michael Bush is a better option. Perhaps him and Bridgewater can form a Louisville backfield.
