Hey what you think about this.
1. Rd (19) -> trade down to browns for 2 round (35) and 3 round (71) pick.
The Browns now have 3 first round picks -> 4, 19, 26.
Draft:
2. Rd. (35) - Su`a - Filo (OG)

2. Rd. (50) - Borland (MLB)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WCbBmcxmFHY
3. Rd. (71) - Carey (RB)

3. Rd. (81) - Mewhort (OT)

4. Rd. (102) - Easley (DT)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lk5Z8bw8YSc
4.Rd. (112) - Hurst (OT)
5-7 Rd. -> BPA
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
QB: Tannehill, Devlin
RB: Carey, Miller
TE: Clay, Sims
WR1: Wallace, Matthews
WR2: Hartline, Gibson, Benn
LT: Albert
LG: Su`a-Filo
C: Pouncey
RG: Smith, Garner
RT: Mewhort, Hurst
LDE: Wake, Shelby
DT: Odrick, Mitchell
DT: Starks, Easley
RDE: Vernon, Jordan
WOLB: Ellerbe
ILB: Borland
SOLB: Misi
CB1: Grimes, Davis, Wilson
CB2: Finnegan, Taylor
SS: Jones, Thomas
FS: Delmas
i Think build through the draft and in this picture we have 4 Rooki starters -> Carey, Su`a-Filo, Mewhort, Borland.
we can safe cap space -> 20-22 mil. for next season and next season cut Wheeler and Ellerbe.
Then we have a bright future in 2015.
what would you feel about this scenario ? _________________ AFC East Champion 2009 !!!

For that trade to be fair, the Browns would need to add a 4th rounder or at least a 5th.
I really like Su'a-Filo, but I have a feeling he will be drafted in the 1st. David Yankey or Gabe Jackson are better bets to be available.
Borland is a beast; his small size is a question, though. I like Skov a bit more for that reason but I'd be happy with either. I think LB is a position we have to look at sternly in the draft.
Carey won't be drafted by the Phins. Character is the #1 priority. Look towards Mason, Sims, or Williams.
I like Mewhort; I don't think he fits the ZBS very well but he is an excellent pass protector. He can develop his run blocking throughout camp.
I'm not a big fan of either Easley or Hurst, but that's my opinion. I think we need to look at a S in these rounds.
Interesting having a fan from Germany, welcome to the forum. |

thanks i am a Miami Dolphins fan for about 18 years now and i love Miami. i am 27 years old.
In Germany the Dolphins are very popular. I think in Germany the order is :
1. Dallas Cowboys
2. San Francisco 49
3. Washington Redskins
4. Miami Dolphins
and everyone hate the Patriots

Not a fan of Borland. I am really hoping that Mosley is there at 19
I don't see Carey being a good fit. I like Mason and my boy Sankey a lot better.
Overall though good draft. I think you got great value with Sua-Filo and Mewhort _________________

Every fan wants their team to move down in the draft. Now I think Miami is in that pick range when trades occur. I would much prefer two second round picks versus Miami's first round pick (19). _________________ "Yesterday Is History, Tomorrow Is A Mystery, And Today Is A Gift. Agreed, 19th is absolutely terrible value. Martin and Mosley are the only ones that make at least some sense and I don't think either makes it. |

I'll take this draft Huddle. This is a pretty well thought out draft. I like the fact you double up on OT. That would give us a fail safe for one tackle, or possibly two starters later on. I think it's a good draft. _________________

I would rather stay put where were slotted but I wouldn't be pissed either as long as we came out with 2 potential starters on the Oline.
I do however disagree with Huddle on taking a MLB at #2.
I don't care how good he is - BPA crap
We need an additional 2 starting caliber Olinemen.
Now let me say what I actually believe the Phins will do ...
* Pick 1 = Oline (OG)
* Pick 2 DT
* Pick 3 OL
I say DT cause Starks is basically a 1 yr rental maybe 2.
