Round 3. Jeremiah Attoachu OLB GA Tech
Round 4. EJ Gaines CB Mizzou
Round 5a. Aaron Murray QB Georgia (Worm's got this one).
Round 5b. Seantrel Henderson OT Miami
Round 6. De'Anthony Thomas RB Oregon
What I like...
Moncrief at 59! Dude is a big time sleeper who I feel would be an ideal fit for what we need and a absolute steal at the end of round 2.
Flipping Sproles, (a guy we were gonna cut anyway) for potentially our next franchise quarterback.
Elay at 27 is good value but I have Boise State's Demarcus Lawrence rated ahead of him but either would be a great fit in Ryan's scheme.
Henderson is worth the risk in the 5th round... might eventually end up as a Carl Nicks type guard.
What I don't like...
Attoachu is overkill! Elay would be an OLB (SAM) in Ryan's scheme as would Attoachu. Would be better off targeting a higher rated corner or offensive playmaker there.
Don't like the fit with Gaines... love the player, just not the fit.
De'Anthony Thomas, NO thanks... Many (even me at one point) look to DAT to be our replacement for Sproles but we have to remember that Sproles could also run inside and pass protect. The two backs in this draft that could realistically replace Sproles and offer similar skill set are Florida State's Devonte Freeman & Wisconsin's James White.
RB-Mark Ingram: 166 Att, 769 yds, 6 TD's - 50 Rec, 405 yds, 1 Fum
LB-Stephone Anthony: 92 Tackles, 1 Sack, 1 INT, 2 FF, 1 FR, 1 TD, 1 Pick 2
