Not gonna lie I also forgot about the Thurmond signing until after we made the Roby pick, but I think it's a good thing to have so much depth at corner. You can never have too many good corners, and Horton does play 2-5 on occasion, so that would be a scenario to get them all on the field.

As for some targets my number one right now would probably be U16, but I'm not sure how long he'll last. Man it's excruciating not having a 3rd round pick. It's so hard to gage where guys might fall.

Do you have any guys you're looking at for E's, Ice? I like E20, but I feel like he'd be a bit of a reach in the 4th.

And I am good with the depth, because the Thurmond deal is only 1 year so its not like we have him blocking Roby and BWW for a while.

I dont think U16 fits the same position as E15 would have, he is more of an inside player. I honestly would not take E20 before the 6th. My targets going forward at that position would be.....U1,U2,U5,U6,U9,U17 and U20. My top targets would be U1,U2,U6 and U17 for that position. I would put U16, U12, U18 and U21 in the same category which is also a need eventually.

We also have somewhat of a need L7, K4, K5 (both of them), K6, K7 and K12

The key here is I believe U1,U17,U12,U16,K4,K5s,K6 and K12 will all be gone by the time we pick in the 4th.

Oh yeah I definitely meant that if we drafted U16 we'd put him inside. He's ideal for that U spot in our defense I think. I'd love to put U1 at that E spot I think he could really thrive there. I know that U21 has been getting some buzz lately I haven't gotten a chance to watch any of his film do you think he'd be worthy of a 4th round pick?

I have a feeling one of those K's is going to slip through the cracks into the 4th round, but I think if one of our top U's is there whether we're planning on switching them to an E or keeping them at U I think we should take them over a K just based off of the depth that we landed at K in Free Agency.

To me U21 is a later round player not a 4th round type....but U2 is a sort of recent breakout player that could be a target in the 4th.

Hey Guys,

Just wanted to make sure we are all good with the roby pick...
I went back and Bloeddyr gave him and Tuitt as his picks so I guess we had three votes.

Anyways, moving on.
I am intrigued by U9, if he is available in the 4th.

Not really. I said I had Tuitt at the top of my list and made an argument to why we should pick him instead of Roby. When we were 15-20 minutes over time, I felt we needed to make a quick decision, so I said I could get behind Roby. I wouldn't love/like it, but I could get behind it.

But as your said, lets move on.

We are good, like I said my regret is only not accepting that trade with Dallas. We really could have use the extra picks and looking at the board Roby might have fallen into our laps there. I like Roby, I just think we have way too many corners and major needs elsewhere.

Not in love with U9, would consider him more in the 5th. He was very inconsistent. My targets are...U1,U2,U6 and U17. U1,U2 and U17 would be worth our 4th, I would trade down if we target U6. I think U17 could really be great for us, but U1 and U2 could develop into great players at their respective spots as well

I just watched some film on U2, and I absolutely love what he could bring. Both him and U1 offer a lot of versatility for us. I'd say both of them would be E's in our new base scheme, but they could switch to the U spot when we switch to our old base scheme. The way the board has fallen so far I'm really optimistic that some of our top targets will be available when we pick.

I'd say my top four targets are:

1. U1(To play the E position primarily.)
2. U2(To play the E position primarily as well.)
3. U16(Would stay at U)
4. U14(Would stay at U)

Any interest in moving up? 108 + 139 = 97

Let the Texans know.

Hi

96 is available for your 4th round pick and a 6th if you want to shoot up.

Thanks,

GFW

Well, X1 and K6 have recently come off the board, so...

1. U14 (I just view him as a guy that, at worst, can put in a lot of snaps under the new staff and serve an important role).
2. U20
3. K5

A guy I really like, but not until 5th round, is U13. I don't think he'll be an All-Pro or anything, but I believe he will be extremely solid.

I'll wait with my top guys for this round until a few more players has come off the board.

I'll probably be away from about 3-5:30 EST, but should be back on by the time we go on the clock.

titans....I like the players you are talking about but I have 5th round grades on each of them (K5 I have at 4th round grade)

I feel like U1 and U2 have greater value here....I will look to move down potentially

edit: McCullers was just drafted

I thought U1 was already drafted. Since he's not, he should be the pick unless you get a good trade offer.

I think if U1 or U2 is available at our spot we should just go ahead and make the pick, but how far down were you thinking of trying to move potentially? I don't want to lose out on U16 if U1 or U2 aren't there by moving down to the very bottom of the round. I think we could probably move down a few picks and still grab U16 if you were on board, Ice.
