With the way that F/A is going it seems likely that we are trying to minimise our major draft needs and are going to trade up for a QB, does anyone else feel this way? Would anyone be against trading up for Teddy (or bortles if thats who they want...)?

I would have zero problem trading up to #1. Grab Teddy and be set for 10+ years. I would be a little more hesitant to move to 2 and get Bortles. But I would do it depending on the price so we could secure at least one of them.

Nope and yup.

bruce is against any good QB.

IYHO, yes?

No opinion needed, it's fact.

IMHO

There arguably are no "good" QBs in this draft, IMHO.

And certainly none worth trading anything more than a jockstrap used by Ward to trade up for.

You could have done without the "IMHO". The "arguably" was perfect because it's correct, it is arguable. Wink

It isn't worth waiting until next year either. We don't know which QBs can fall off the face of the earth.

Going into the season with Hoyer as the starter is like 2007 when we started Frye and had the better QB on the bench.

More like in the new beginning when we threw Couch to the wolves if by "better" you mean any QB we draft.

Tony Grossi apparently believes in his heart that if we sign Matt Schaub it will completely remove QB from the #4 overall.

Because... reasons?
