Wouldn't think he's guaranteed to stick on the roster, either. If the staff think Dexter can handle that and whatever else they have planned, could free up a roster spot for another LB, TE, etc.

McCluster doesn't handle kickoffs well.. Much better at Punt Return..

I suppose, but with Washington getting only a 1 year deal, I find it hard to think that come final cuts he's not in the conversation to be let go. If he's literally handling KR only, he's vulnerable.

What's the point of resigning him then? I'm sure the injury has something to do with it.. We must be careful

I like the idea of separate people for KR and PR. We could also use Leon Washington a bit on offense if Wiz so chooses, and we won't risk over working either one.
