I decided to do 2 mock drafts: 1 with us trading back and the other some wishful thinking and staying put. 5 rounds on both.

I have the Cowboys trading back in this draft with the Browns and taking 26th and Swapping 2nds and picking up their third (83)
1.26 - Xavier Su'a-Filo OG - UCLA
2.35 - Jason Verrett- CB- TCU
3.71 - Ego Ferguson- DT- LSU
3.78 - Caraun Reid- DT- Princeton
4.117 - Kareem Martin- DE- N. Carolina

Why do you want a CB in the 2nd round? Personally, I would hate to see us take a CB early.
I'd be pretty happy with the rest of the picks tho. If we would be able to get Hyde or Martin as late as the 4th, I would be ecstatic. |
