Chargers signed DE/OLB Cordarro Law.
Law, 25, had 14 sacks for the Calgary Stampeders in the CFL last year. He originally entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent with the Seahawks in 2012, but failed to make their roster during training camp. Law will compete for a role as a reserve pass rusher this offseason.

I'll just hope for the next Cameron Wake...

Praise be to Jeebus! Our pass-rush problems are solved!

Hey.... I'm serious. I'm really hoping we can grab a guy from the CFL, and have him do what Wake did for the Dolphins.

Since you're a fan, break this guy down for us.

I feel bad only because you're one of the few Raider fans I actually like.

I feel like this is a guy who, at worst, can take English's or Keiser's spot from last year moving forward. Yes, I realize Keiser is popular because he did produce some in games, but the guy is what he is and I get the feeling he's effectively maxed out his ceiling hitting the production he has. Law may offer more, even if it's only a bit more production from a rotational player.

I will say, I'm happy to see this aspect of Ryan Grigson's approach to free agency has rubbed off on Telesco. Grigson (when TT was still on his staff) plucked starting ILB Jerrell Freeman off the Saskatchewan Roughriders in 2012 for quite a find.

Interesting article on Law published by the Seahawks' media guys a little ways back:
http://www.seahawks.com/news/articles/article-1/Laying-down-the-Law/066960c8-7489-4454-bb86-c24d840aa7eb

I went back and looked at my notes from the 2012 draft and Law was a guy who I noted needed to really work on his block-shedding ability and depended too much on finesse moves (needed to develop better, more consistent power moves), but was a heady player with a good football IQ who had athletic ability that showed up on tape.

While at Southern Miss, Law was a better passrusher than current Patriot's OLB Jamie Collins. His game was similar to collegiate Justin Houston and his build wasn't most impressive. I wanted him as a Steeler and feel that if Law is given a chance, he will contribute on an NFL team. I wish him the best with you guys.
