Despite whiffing on HC and QB I liked what he brought to the draft.

Tyson Jackson (good DE who will never live up to #3, but still good)
Ryan Succop (solid K. 81% career accuracy)
Eric Berry (top 3 SS)
Dexter McCluster (decent WR, better PR)
Jon Asamoah (started season at RG until injury)
Rodney Hudson (starting C)
Justin Houston (great all around OLB)
Allen Bailey (rotational DE mostly in Nickel)
Dontari Poe (beastly NT)
Jeff Allen (starting LG)
Donald Stephenson (should be starting LT next year, imo. starting RT at worst)
Junior Hemmingway (good depth who showed flashes)

All started at least one game this year for the Chiefs this year. Now of course no one hits on all picks. But for 12 of his 32 picks to have hit, I consider it pretty good. This isn't counting other players currently on other rosters.

TLDR: Good hire by the Falcons imo.

Dude bugged the Chiefs offices, so long as he's not in charge, he's fine. But the dude is one paranoid SOB, almost as bad as Saban.

He may actually be insane. Glad he's not running the show and his power is in check. Because he's really crazy.

I heard he flipped out because there was a wrapper of some sort on the floor in the locker room or something? Lol, like you said, glad his power is in check. I'm just excited to see what he has to offer and the expanding of our draft pool. He can scout defensive talent that's for sure. And that is exactly what we need in Atlanta to go along with TD and his eye for skill players.

Yeah, all of the stories (none necessarily confirmed) lead me to believe he has definite control issues, atleast when he was GM with the Chiefs. There was a report that he went ballistic when he came across candy wrappers in a stairwell at the team offices. Another report was that he made all office personnel with views of the practice field close their blinds so the practice field was not visible from their office. Pretty strange stuff.

If he is in a controlled environment where his opinions are filtered and he is not the person in charge of making all of the decisions it could be a solid hire. The key will be keeping his OCD from impacting everyone else in the office.

It wouldn't surprise me if he's a GM again in the next 3 years. He knows talent... Just couldn't pick the right Head Coach.

I would be stunned, he's out of his mind.
