If glennon was in this draft ,

1. Bridgewater
2a. Manziel
2b. Carr
4. Bortles
5. Garappolo
6. Aaron Murray
7. Brett smith.
8. Mike glennon.
9. Zach Mettenburgh
10. Tahj Boyd.

Manuel and smith are the bills and jets issues. I don't wanna be the bills not jets with crappy to below average qb play. Glennon is upgradable and at the most important position on the field you gotta get it right. Glennon was a 3rd round pick. 9+/10, becomes a back up.

So you want to dump a 2nd round pick in Garappolo and hope he proves enough during camp to push Glennon aside. If he doesn't we just used our 2nd round pick to push our starter. By the looks of things as well he will not be lasting until our 2nd round pick. The Browns can do the Watkins/Garappolo combo.

I can see why guys want to upgrade the position but wtf would we want to draft the 5th/6th ranked qb and hope he turns into Brees? He ends up starting and has an up and down rookie year we are left with two qbs that guys will have questions about.

Us snagging the 5th best guy in a deep but not top heavy qb class will only handcuff us next year when 3/4 monsters will be coming out if he doesn't prove with no questions to be the man.

He stares his first read down often. Too often. He gets away with it at his competitive level of opponents, but this is something that will get him in trouble at the nfl level.

Footwork seems abit sloppy. But that is correctable. Tunnel vision is tough to break.

We just got rid of a qb that had those same issues...

you dont pass on a franchise quarterback if you dont have one.

I agree but the only two guys I view as that is Johnny and Teddy and they even have some questions.

That's the thing you guys are always assuming too much. Sure Hundley, Mariota, and Winston seem like shoe in first round picks but you never know. Players regress all the time and would not surprise me at all if 2/3 of those QB's production went down and their stock takes a hit. That is why I think its silly to just say hey "there's always next years class", well what if one QB is only worth a first rounder? We're screwed with Glennon for a second year in the row. We absolutely have to bring in somebody to, at the very worse push Glennon. Jimmy G is a guy that can come in and push Glennon and if Glennon does well we can always trade Jimmy G for a pick for a QB needy team in 2015.

Love the mock off season Shorty.

I hope we can keep Demps. Guy is a playmaker when healthy. I think if he hadn't gone down this year he would have been a fan favorite.

I think he needs to make a decision. Football or track. Not part time football.

I have to agree, and I think the Patriots also agree with you.

I get what you guys are saying about Demps. I just want Lovie to give him a shot at least. If Demps decides to run track again this year then hes done I'm sure.
