I'm told Jay Gruden and the Redskins are currently working out the final details to make him the team's new head coach.

Personally I hate the hire. I think he's definitely the weak link of the Bengals and if they promote Hue Jackson they'll be much better off.

Final details are all set. Jay Gruden is the new head coach of the Washington Redskins, Im told. Now, a little bit about Gruden...

On NFL Network too. It's official now.

He was alright for awhile for the Bengals. But his play calling was extremely questionable at times and IMO he doesn't use his personnel right.

IE: running a pitch play to BJGE on 3rd and 2
Or

Putting Gio in on 3rd and goal up the middle

Or

In the playoffs on 4th and 3 going deep

Andy Dalton was the weak link of the Bengals.

All things considered I like the hire.

I've never heard any fan base at any time praise their offensive coordinator for more than 1-2 seasons.

I'm glad that Skins made this hire now instead of lingering.

Same. Every fanbase hates their OC.

No idea why the hell they would keep Jim Haslett.

It's hard to say how he'll do because he's never had majority influence over a team, but he strikes me of knowing what he's doing.

That being said I wouldn't accept that Redskins job. What a mess over there.

Most Saints fans love Pete Carmichael. Razz
