Ka'Deem Carey in the second seems like such a wasted pick to me. You have Rice and Pierce. I agree with adding a RB but not in the 2nd. You could get Jeremy Hill in the 6th and be just fine.

Also Louis Delmas isn't that great of a safety. I doubt we sign him for that long of a deal. And if we resign Pitta and Monroe without restructuring suggs, haloti, rice, webb, etc, how are we supposed to add Mack too?

We can't trust Ray Rice for next year. This team needs playmakers. Adding Carey along with a healthy Ray Rice (hopefully) will do the offense good. Pierce is a bust imo. He's just a body for next year.

Pierce is a bust? Doubt it. I'd like to see what he does with a professional Offensive line, again. No way I draft a back in the 2nd. I wouldn't take any back available there over Pierce right now.

Also, we won't have space to sign Monroe and Mack. The rest is good.

I second these sentiments. We can all agree that Ray took a step back last year but the line obviously did him no favours. I'd give him and Pierce another year under a hopefully improved line before I consider drafting another running back

It's amazing to me that people see two running backs who, after both having very strong years, suffer huge dropoff in numbers in the same season that the OL gives up a ridiculous # of sacks and somehow the OL doesn't stick out as a gigantic contributing factor.

If the Ravens drafted a RB before the 5th round, I'd be disappointed. I really don't think it's a need, especially not to use a 2nd round pick on a RB in what seems to be a pretty weak draft for them.

You don't take a running back in the 2nd round to add a "playmaker". You draft a running back in the 2nd round to add a starting back. Just look at Bobby Rainey. He's proven to be a playmaker in this league. Where was he drafted? Point is. We can add a playmaking back in the 5th round to UDFA. We have too many "real" needs for us to pass on to take a luxury back. Would just make very little sense.

In term of the rest of the draft...

Marqise Lee- Definitely a fan of the selection. Marqise Lee has the low 4.4 speed along with the explosive ability to stretch the defense and be a fit within our offense... He would replace Jacoby Jones as our 2nd deep threat. But Lee is also extremely quick in and out of his cuts. He has the lateral quickness to be able to gain separation on routes unlike most of the receivers in our stable. Lee also has some YAC ability to him due to his lateral ability. Definitely a fan. Think Lee is going to be a consistent 1000 yard receiver type. Similar game to Marvin Harrison... Hopefully with an upgrade in clutch ability and mental fortitude.

Louchiez Purifoy- I don't like Purifoy. He has the athletic ability to succeed and a playmaking gene to him... but he gets burned too much... though if he falls to the 3rd round... I suppose the pick could make some sense. He has the obvious athletic tools to excel, but not the experience/refinement.

James Hurst- Who is James Hurst?

Caraun Reid- Nice fit for what we need. I'm a little surprised though that Caraun Reid seems to be getting a lot of hype, while Jay Bromley isn't. Both players doing similar things and Bromley plays at the higher collegiate level. Just find that a little interesting.

Crocket Gimlore- I like the pick. He was also in my mock. He presents everything you could want in a TE with blocking, hands, decent athleticism, etc.
