Wasn't sure where to put this but I thought it was hilarious and I wanted to share. It's BuzzFeed's 13 pointless observations football fans make after a loss. It basically reads like one of our GDTs in a game where we struggle.

Here are some highlights that I've definitely heard on this forum
1. Our receivers need to improve their route running
When you say it: Any time a pass play doesnít work and itís not because of an obvious mistake by the quarterback and there arenít any famous receivers on your team.

2. Our offensive line needs to get more push
When you say it: After a run of any kind fails to pick up at least four yards for any reason at all.

3. Our defensive line needs to get more push
When you say it: Any time an opposing quarterback completes a pass on third and long without any noticeable pressure from the pass rush.

11. Our playcalling is too predictable.
When you say it: When a traditional power run doesnít work.

Lots of other good ones but there's were the ones I think I've seen most often in GDTs.

Here's the rest

He's definitely well respected inside the locker room, from both coaches and players. Pete really values him, as indicated by his dual positions as OL Coach and Assistant Head Coach.

Personally, I'm not a big fan of his as far as being an OLine coach is concerned, but I think he can be a good head coach. Definitely a guy that would bring discipline to that Lions organization.

Would you say his specialty would be offense then?

I wouldn't be worried if he can't teach the OL, we already have an outstanding OL coach.

I wouldn't necessarily say he has a specialty. If I had to give him one, it would simply be leadership.

There's only one reason I wouldn't want Cable as my OL coach.

He seems to be pretty bad at evaluating talent.

Agreed, but as it pertains to Detroit, they already have a good OLine coach and they already have a very good talent evaluator in GM Martin Mayhew.
