ny92jefferis - where did you learn all the coding for excel like that? my roommate is in a class (k201) at IU and it's blowing his mind how you did that. Laughing

Google man....haha

I pick new stuff up all the time. Still a ton to learn.

Its funny to say but I actually learned excel several years back when I was running my mock drafts. My first one was a copy and paste kinda deal. I wanted to do more with the mock so I just started reading up in google how to do the formulas.

That's great lol. He can do anything with websites - he's working on "The Swiss List" now, but doesn't have quite the grasp on excel that you do. You need to get this on a platform other than excel. It would be a really neat idea for a website or something.

Believe me I know.

Trades you make can't exceed a difference of 40%.

I'm confused about something, maybe I'm just doing it wrong?

2013 Roll over.. How is that calculated? I know I have $20M in roll over.

Is that ALL applied to 2014's salary space? Or is it broken up over multiple seasons or what?

The reason I ask is because in the work book it lists my Adjusted Cap as 129M

It should be all rolled over and you should be in the $140+ million cap range. You have $109m in contract liabilities for 2014. Oh, wait, the difference is $12m in dead money in 2014 me thinks.

I meant for the Jaguars, but that still answers my question.

Alright because that's not how it's listed in the workbook, so I'll just edit the #'s when I send it back to NY92. Thank you for the clarification.

The rookie pool is probably throwing your numbers off.

Thats included in the 2014 adjusted cap, which for jac is 14.6 million

No need to edit.

125million - dead money + rollover - rookie pool = 129 million and some change. The rookie pool is throwing you off.

Basically, the Trading Teams take on the players they are trading's total remaining signing bonuses, which becomes dead money. Th New Teams's cap includes the base plus all non-signing bonuses.

Yes...send me the updated application.

Once Phase II is released, you won't have the luxury of changing their values.

This applies to everyone. I'm providing this extra time as even to adjust the values should you of over or under valued your players. I did it myself with KC and probably Det.
