It's too late, I know, but always choose sleep before a final. Always. There reaches a point where it's too late for your brain to retain new information and the sleep will do you worlds better.

I think it depends. If I'm going to get under four or so hours of sleep, I generally push through and try to get stuff done so I can sleep the next day/night. Of course, that refers more to classwork than studying for tests/exams. For those, I cut myself off studying at about six hours of sleep.

Luckily the latest I was ever up during finals was probably 2:00am and I'll never have to make that decision ever again!

I did an all-nighter prior to my Macroeconomics final my freshman year. I had a C, but the way the final was weighted I could get an A if I got a perfect score on the final. I had struggled mightily on one entire unit in the class, studied all night... and missed one question on a 150-question final. Didn't get an A, lol.

My tests were mostly about making a good note sheet and knowing how to do the problems. If you didn't know the problems the night before the test, you weren't going to learn them no matter how hard you tried. I know though that engineering is a lot different than other classes though

I won my main, hyper-competitive fantasy league. The prize was $200, a year of vicious bragging rights, and an inevitably smug victory video in which I will roast the hell out of everyone else.

To make matters better, I won making only one trade (that I didn't even need; I never once started the player I traded for) and only picking up defenses off the waiver wire/in FA.

Congratulations! I, too, opt to stream defenses and it has worked out pretty well.

Negotiating the politics of your boss' undeservedly inflated ego is perhaps the worst part of every job.

Lork, do you still have that Rosencopter sig somewhere? I feel like using that right now.

It might be on an old computer, I'll check and see if I can find it.
