I think its a win to an extent for the chiefs unless Andy had the opportunity to get Foles for around the same price or even less of the price. I just think there were better options for win now and win for the next 10 years.

To consider: Kapernick had an awesome year last year for a couple reasons. 1) Nobody was ready for his style. He made out like a bandit with the 'style' that teams were not prepared for. 2) By his own admission, Alex was monumental in getting him prepared and mentoring him. No Alex Smith there this year. Coincidence? I think not.

Can Alex have that same affect with Bray? I think so, but it will take an extension of Alex's contract so the process can occur.

Just an opinion....talk about it.
