So my job closes at 6 on Sundays so I finally get to see the Chiefs play live.... and then my boss tells everyone that our yearly, mandatory meeting is Sunday at 7.... FML. Contemplated quitting my job on the spot there since it's just a retail job I don't really need while attending college.

At least I'll get to see the 2nd half live though.

Not too bad, IMO. Going against an 8-1 team playing at home. I doubt those circumstances have happened much (if at all) in that timespan.

8.5 is A LOT of points.

Don't you always get about 3 for being at home? And it is all dictated by expectations of the average better, which makes it pretty unsurprising.

These are the lines for all the Chiefs previous games this year...

-3.5 @ Jacksonville
-3 vs Dallas
+3.5 @ Philadelphia
-3.5 vs New York Giants
-2.5 @ Tennessee
-8 vs Oakland
-7 vs Houston
-7 vs Cleveland
-5 vs Buffalo

That would make +8.5 @ Denver the biggest spread in a Chiefs game either way that we've seen this season. Eight and a half points is a large spread in the NFL, especially when the underdog is 9-0.

And this can't be our official GDT. We need an epic one with plenty of good luck ladies. I'm lookin' at you, Rummy.

As of now:

Sunday, November 17: Chiefs at Broncos, 7:25 p.m. CST kickoff.
Sunday, December 1: Broncos at Chiefs, 3:25 p.m. CST kickoff.

I hate it!

I don't like the Sunday night one. It's ice more people get to see it (aside from the fact that all of NFL Gen gets to see it), but I have class at 8 AM the next day. And on the east coast, that game is 8:25 for me.

My inconveniences are more important than yours Wink

You say the second one got flexed, but areas talking a move to the afternoon game as listed above? Didn't think that was considered flexed. I always thought that meant to Sunday night.

Don't quote me on it but all I think "flexed" means is that it's moved to a better time slot to improve ratings.

Hmm. Guess I'm just used to college spreads.
