Belichick still doesn't trust USC talent.

I like it, not a big Hurst fan, but I see value in where we are picking him. I like it, don't love it

I don't like Boyd he sucks and is a reach there.

safety in the third is fine.

Be even more of a strength with Nix as the Nose. You make one part of the defense really good, everything else becomes easier. I'm kind of meh on Boyd, but he'd be able to run Chip's system and could flourish in that role.

1 Antonio Richardson OT Tennessee
2 Will Sutton DT Arizona State
3 Aaron Murray QB Georgia

OLB isn't a need and most definitely not at #6.

As of right now I'd put our needs at

RT
FS
G
QB
DT

Barr is one of the few blue chippers in the draft, I don't think there's another player at the position you mentioned worth taking that high with the way the board fell.

Something like this is only going to happen if the CB position is settled before the draft!

And they surely won't pick a RB early (if at all) with Frank Gore, Marcus Lattimore, Kendall Hunter and LaMichael James (Anthony Dixon) on the roster.

And the selection of a OLB is probably based on them loosing Aldon Smith for an extended period. Skuta and Lemonier have covered the position fairly well in his absence, and I don't think it'll be a position of mayor concern in 2014.

Considering how much nickel we play, the fact that we have JL55 signed to a long term deal that makes him uncuttable this season, and the fact that we just signed Ogletree, he wouldn't get enough snaps to justify being taken at 6th. Our pass rush is the only major area where we really don't need any help between Long and Quinn.

Honestly, it doesn't get much better from there. Tiny Richardson is a pretty massive reach at 11 - that's not all your fault since the other RT types went early in the draft, but that'd be a pretty mediocre use of a top 15 pick either way. Sutton is fine, but the interior OL needs to be addressed early in the draft and that didn't happen in your mock. Murray in the 3rd would be awful - the Rams would take a backup with physical tools that they can develop, not a polished guy that could never realistically start.

I'd be pretty upset if the draft went down that way.

You have Kuoandjio going #7, Nix #10 and Richardson going #11. Is four or five spots so major a reach that Snead won't take them? Honestly the way you have the board going a trade down at both spots, or just #6 is very likely. As is its hard to say how they'll act. Snead is definitely a fan of trades on draft day.

Manziel is not worth a first round pick and specially not one that high, Ogbuehi may not stick at OT and McCullers is too tall for a 3-4NT.

A better draft for Houston would be
1. Louis Nix - BPA
2. Boyd or Metteberger - Both are better pro prospects than Manziel
3. Mewhort or Skov - OT and ILB are big needs
