With the Bengals not playing on sunday, this week will be a good time to hopefully see some of the other important teams lose this week.

AFC Playoff Picture

Seeds:
1.Chiefs 8-0
2.Bengals 6-2
3.Patriots 6-2
4.Colts 5-2
5.Broncos 7-1
6.Chargers 4-3

In the Hunt:
7.Jets 4-4
8.Titans 3-4
9.Ravens 3-4
10.Raiders 3-4
11.Dolphins 3-4
12.Browns 3-5
13.Bills 3-5
14.Texans 2-5
15.Steelers 2-5

Any team with 8 losses is pretty much out of the race now. That means bye bye to you Jaguars.

I still view the Ravens and Browns as division threats, but not the Steelers, so needing them to lose is still important. And then next after that is needing the other division teams to lose to help improve the Bengals seeding. Lastly any other playoff wildcard contenders I just want to see lose just incase the division goes sour.

Earlier this year, the rate things were going I would of said the Chiefs is whom the Bengals would play in the wildcard round.

With how things are going though, I see at the moment the Bengals finishing with the 3rd seed and playing the Chargers in the playoffs.

Games of Importance:

1st Slate

1.Chiefs @ Bills - Need Bills win
2.Chargers @ Redskins - Need Redskins win
3.Titans @ Rams - Need Rams win
4.Saints @ Jets - Need Saints win

2nd Slate

1.Ravens @ Browns - Need Browns win
2.Steelers @ Patriots - Need Steelers win
3.Eagles @ Raiders - Need Eagles win

Sunday Night

1.Colts @ Texans - Need Texans win

When the Bengals lose a game, this playoff picture is now the chance to fallback and make this week less painful.

A Ravens loss would the best thing possible Sunday, if nothing else goes right.

I still can't root for the Steelers against the pats this week, they have a good shot though.

I still think the Bengals win the division. I haven't wavered on that. I just don't have a lot of confidence come playoff time without the best two defenders.

????

Pittsburgh is not remotely a contender this year.

I wanted the steelers to win, but this loss pretty much ends there season now, which is good.

Good news this week is, Bengals still have a firm lead on the division, with the Browns now in 2nd place, whom they have play soon anyway.

Bad news is, Bengals are now bumped down to the 4th seed, and the Broncos would be the team they play. Not saying thats how its gonna end, but what if the Chiefs do win the division. Would anyone feel comfortable playing the Broncos? No.

Don't really want to be forced into the 4th seed where they will get stuck with either the Broncos or Chiefs. Chiefs I'd much rather play, but id rather not be in that scenario.

3rd seed the Bengals could play anybody. Jets, Dolphins, Browns, Titans, and Chargers. I would feel great about playing any of those team. Yes even the Dolphins after they beat the Bengals, because playing in a cold environment against a team that might not be use to it like the Chargers or Dolphins would be a best case scenario.

I agree; but those Browns are looking sneaky good.

The Ohio derby in two weeks is developing into a very important must win for us.
