Needs- The Browns need a player in pretty much every position. The biggest needs are the O and D line, Quarterback, RB, CB, LB, SS/FS, and KR/PR.

Possible Free agent Signings-There is a rumor that the Browns are trying to sign Asaunte Samuel, now that would definately improve our team, or maybe Nate Clements, I know his aunt lives in Cleveland, maybe he'd like to see her more often.
Jake Plummer is also another possible player to be signed.

What the Browns could do for the first round would be to trade down for an extra draft pick in the second or third round and get Ted Ginn, Ginn is a great all around player. Corner and Safety in high school, WR, PR, and KR in college, he could be used for anything.

Another good idea would be to go for Russel if he's not available, go for Quinn, after all he is from Ohio, sure he's not as good, but he will definately help the Browns.

I know everyone thinks the Browns are gonna get Peterson, I think that's okay, but it won't really help in the longrun, Droughns has rushed for over 1000 yards in consecutive seasons.

Okay, this is what I really think we should do:

1st Round-either Joe Thomas, Jamarcus Russel, Or Brady Quinn

2nd Round-Antonio Pittman, see, there are other good RBs in the draft, and we don't have to waste our first rounder on a RB whos just as good, or maybe just a little better.

3rd Round(If Russel Or Quinn weren't drafted by us)- Troy Smith, if Drew Brees is less than 6 feet and he got 2nd in mvp, why can't Troy Smith do just as good, hes even taller than Brees.

OTHER IDEAS------

I don't know if I'm the only one who remembered, but what about Zabransky, this guy is way underated, we could get him in the 4th or fifth round, then we got all the rounds before that for other needs.

Lemme know what you think, if you ask me I'd say it's pretty good

This should go in the Browns forum. Here on FF there is a MASSIVE Browns community. You should repost it there for more input.

I think you're a homer who wants the Browns to draft all Ohio St. guys!!
We really don't need safety or linebacker help. We need OG OT RB CB. I think you give Frye another year behind an improved O-Line (hopefully) I would draft Thomas or AP in the first, then get either DL, CB, OG/OT in the 2nd & 3rd round. Build up the lines of scrimmage is the most important in my mind!!! Paul Brown once said "the most important players on the team are the ones closest to the ball" I totally believe that!!

ACDC does rock, that definitely is true.

This actually should go in the Team Needs Thread stickied at the top of the forum, and you could also probably post it in the Browns Forum. I'm going to lock this thread down, but I recommend that you repost it in the Team Needs Thread.

Thanks
