Not sure I find a whole lot funny about a 44 year old man that can't remember his daughter playing soccer because of the amount of hits he took in his career.

It's not.

But some of the jokes are.

I agree some are funny if you ignore context but still not appropriate and still imo constitute as nothing more than trolling. Thread should probably be locked, already pretty obvious it isn't going to go anywhere but people trying to make jokes out of a situation they'd be crying themselves to sleep every night about if it happened to them.

Short memories are crucial for NFL players; you make a mistake, you need to forget about it and move on...can't let it linger on the back of your mind

Crying himself to sleep, really man?

not really a surprise. i remember watching a game awhile ago and he got smashed his head. whip lashed right into the dirt. he got up and played the last quarter, taking a few more shots. he ended up making a comeback for the pack and everyone was praising how hes a soldier and what not. they half joking half amazed by his warrior mentality about how he didnt remember half the game. i remember talking about how its really stupid for him to go back in. but thats how it was back then, as in openly saying you cant remember the game and discussing and joking about it. im sure players still have this happen to them.
