NFL AM just confirmed that Reggie has torn his ACL and will be out the rest of the year. So who takes his place Da'Rick Rogers or Griff Whalen? Or do look outside of the organization?

My first choice would be Whalen but I would kick the tires on some of the guys that are reported to be available.

If we do, I don't think we are going to be going after the Nicks, Britts etc. I think it will be someone you don't see coming.

Besides that there are only 8 days to the trade deadline and 13 days until the Colts next game. Which is plenty of time to make calls and get a deal done and still give that player an entire week of practice with Luck before the next game (divisional game against Houston no less)

Do we really want to make a snap judgement and trade another mid-to-high round draft pick though?

I don't mind trading a 4th or 5th rounder necessarily, but is that person really going to come in a perform over DHB and Hilton? I mean we could inquire about guys like Greg Jennings or Miles Austin for mid rounders, but their contracts scare me. I woulndt mind just bringing up Rogers from the PS and seeing what this young group of WRs is made of.

agreed i think grigs will make a trade though a small one possibly getting in a young guy he liked in the draft or something.

Along with placing Reggie on IR, the team signed CB Jalil Brown (former 4th round pick Chiefs 2011)

Waived TE Dominique Jones and released FB Robert Hughes from the practice squad

At least this time we leave open roster spots when the team isn't going to be practice until the end of the week at the earliest

Terrible news indeed. Another bad injury for this team this season. You have to wonder if this is the injury that the team can't get past.

Going to have to

Hopefully Da'Rick Rogers can come in and make a contribution, Im sure Griff Whalen ends up back on the squad too

I would like to look at a WR via trade, just not sure I can see it lining up and us have anything left to draft with...Although I would give up our 2nd or 3rd for a select few guys.

See what pans out.

Reggies return next year will be a big addition

Monday, Coach Chuck Pagano said, "He'll be back. I know how he's wired, I know what his DNA is, I know how he is as a man. Everybody's going to say, 'no way,' but after the conversation I just had with him, just wait and see. We'll all put on the gloves for Reggie and we'll help him get through this and get him back."

Cant wait till he gets back next year, hopefully to a team that has grown immensely.
