It seems that Jeff Garcia is open to saving the Vikings' season!

Quote:
"I'm realistic about it all. I'm not expecting anything.

"I'm not trying to start fires out there.

"But if you look at situations around this league, I can help a young quarterback out.''

He's talking about a back up role, but would bringing him in benefit the Vikings? Or are we 5 years too late?

I remember wanting him after his resurrection with the Eagles.

Garcia hasn't even attempted a pass since 2008... pass.

If he signs with us then I demand that Ben and Jerry's create a new flavor: Brownie Garcia.

And now if you'll excuse me, I'm off to listen to Uncle John's band playing to the tide...

"Garcia is a 12-year NFL veteran who last played in 2009 for the Philadelphia Eagles. He says he has stayed in peak condition working with -- and along side -- quarterbacks such as Mark Sanchez and JaMarcus Russell along with college and high school standouts."

This...this is why he thinks he can come back. He isn't working out with Aaron Rodgers or Peyton Manning. Of course he looks good with those two....
