I think Ponder's confidence is shot at this point. He knows that the Vikings don't want him, and he really can't play anyway. I wouldn't be at all surprised if he has a game equally as bad, or worse, than Freeman's game on Monday night.

I'm no Ponder fan, but it will be really hard to match that level of suck...

I think it is a legit concussion. That's one of those things with the testing that you can't fake, and the testing isn't just done by the Vikings.

Yeah i guess the doctors watched the game and figured that had to be it.

That's very true. It was a special kind of horrible. But Ponder's ability to stink up a joint may trump Monday's performance from Freeman.

The saddest part is he's the best QB the Bucs ever had and we let him go. Go us. (Not including Steve Young.) Brick wall

I bet ponder plays the game of his life. Not because I have any faith in Ponder, but because it would cause the biggest circus imaginable in MN. Which in according to this season, is the only logical conclusion.

Freeman just set the record for most overthrows in a game since they've been keeping track, no way Ponder plays that bad. The Vikings offense was completely inept with Freeman out there, at least with Ponder (directly or indirectly) they were putting up ~28 PPG.

Jeff Garcia was better than Freeman. I am not kidding. Just because Freeman had potential doesn't mean that he is actually any good. Freeman's career so far is not impressive and i don't see it changing.

What a disaster. That said, watch Ponder become a worldbeater come the game vs the Pack.

Garcia was definitely better. Garcia in a WCO was very underrated.

Not even if he tried. His noodle arm and checkdown mentality won't allow him to be unfortunately.

If you don't know anything about concussions, please don't comment and or diagnose them... Ignorant statements tend to make me believe they come from ignorant people, I kinda jump to conclusions that way.

Concussions don't just occur right after the initial incident. It isn't even unusual for them to go undiagnosed for a couple of days. Some of that is the swelling of the brain and the person not realizing what is happening to them.

Yes, Freeman took a heckuva hit from JPP. I thought afterward that guy's got a concussion, but he got right back up and kept playing. Judging by the latest bit of stupidity from Richard Sherman, some players do this. I have no idea what happened here and I don't want to speculate. I'm just happy they caught it.

I wish Freeman a speedy recovery and good health.

At this point, I'd go with AP at QB and go all wildcat.
