DE DeMarcus Ware is expexcted to miss three to four weeks with a strained quad.

That sucks. We are already missing Ratliff and Spencer from the starting line up; and Crawford and Bass from rotation. Right now we have Hatcher and a bunch of 2nd/3rd stingers on the DL.

Crying or Very sad

Cowboys expected to sign DE Jarius Wynn, who worked out Monday. Wynn has played 4 years and a Super Bowl ring. Will have to cut someone

It does suck, but it's probably good that he's resting now. Just hasn't looked right this season. Still good but not his usual HOF self...

Injuries have really been catching up to him the last two years. I am afraid that this might be the start of decline. Our Dline was already quite thin before all these injuries. All the more reason to target D-linemen heavily in the draft.

At least it wasn't a neck stinger this time.

Hate to see any player go down, but we need help that we can get next week. Ware is one of the few Cowboys players I like, so I wish he gets healthy soon,

Wynn was a nice rotational player for the Packers. He played in the 3-4 as a DE thought so I don't see him being brought in to take Ware's snaps at DE.

Well we need help at DT as well. Were missing 3 players there already.

Does he have any pass rush ability? Mainly a run stuffer?

I was listening to radio and they said he was playing with the Chargers and some were surprise to see him go. He had a sack against the eagles in week 2. The scouting report said he can give you 20-25 snaps a game and is mainly a pass rusher, dont know how his run defense is

He showed a little pass rush ability as a 3-4 DE for the Chargers. I can't see him filling Ware's shoes.

He's definitely a tweener. Not great at pass rush or run stopping but respectfully solid at both I guess you could say.

Adam Schefter ‏@AdamSchefter 8m
Cowboys signed former Dolphins and Giants DT Marvin Austin.
