Quote:
ALAMEDA -- Sio Moore believes hes an every-down linebacker. The Raiders project him as one. Just not now.

Moore subs out during the nickel package, leaving him out during most passing downs. His snap count varies wildly from week to week, from the majority to a precious few.

The third-round pick can consequently count pass-rush opportunities on two hands, which has been strange for a player with 14.5 sacks his last two seasons at Connecticut. It was the case on Sunday against Kansas City, but Moore made the most of his opportunities.

I am not lying when I expected this kid to be in contention for DROY. Whoops, way to early to judge though. I think he will be a great LBer one day.

Ya but reading between the lines it was a combination of that(not as much practice time) and not knowing the entire defense. From what Tarver said the latter is getting better.

He missed the Denver game with a concussion. Started all but the Indy game. 6 tackles through 5 games is a disappointing start, but he really needs to work on his technique. 14.5 sacks in his last 2 years at UCONN. He may not have the Von Miller speed, but he can be a force.

I've only seen him on special teams for the Giants. He's got 2 FFs but one was on Sheriff Floyd returning a kick. They might rotate him at DE, but he hasn't been a monster of any kind with his 5 tackles and 0 sacks.

My hell you are a broken record.

5 tackles! Moore is just a bringing the HEAT off the edge. How are opposing QBs avoiding that pressure is my question. I mean 5 tackles. HEAT HEAT HEAT!!

You should probably make a new thread about Moore to detail the HEAT index he is bringing. En Fuego!

Sio Moore's two sacks today will help his cause for staying on the field more.

Really it should be 1.5. McGee was in on that one play too but they didn't credit him.

They have one of the worst pass rushes in NFL history so far this season. Get outta here with that garbage.
