Pryor didn't practice today but Porter did.

In my opinion they are a joke. In the last ten years there drafts sucked.

Hopefully McFadden and Reece are back in a couple of weeks, injuries are 'not serious' apparently.........

Also, Dennis Allen is hopeful Menelik Watson will be back at practice this week which should be a big boost to the confidence of the OL, though obviously he's still very green.

The bye week could not have came at a better time. So many crucial and role players are hurt. We need Wiz, Watson, Pashos, Gurode and Veldheer ASAP. Not to mention the other injuries.

The bye week is coming at the best possible time for this unit. Hopefully they can heal up and well have to see how fast Jared Veldheer can get back. He is eligible to play starting Week 9, at home against Philly.

The above from Fansided. Never heard of them but they said something positive. Short but decent article which speaks on Pryor and his difficulties against the Chef's.

To be honest it's difficult reading anything about this game. Wish we could have finished on a positive note. Two weeks of depression. At least I was ready for this even though they gave me tremendous hope in the first half. However, I took the rope off the chandelier.

Absolutely. Though Watson and Veldheer probably will miss at least a couple more games, hopeful that Wiz and Pashos will be fit and Gurode may be an option given the lacklustre play of Nix.

We should be ok against the Steelers as long as Wiz and Pashos are healthy. They have not been able to get that much pressure this season. Only 7 sacks to date I believe.

What's funny is as banged up and shifted around as the Oline was, Nix was still the worst of the group.

Surely there has got to be a vet FA who can offer more. Lance Louis is still a FA is he not?

Yes, you're not wrong unfortunately. I was hopeful for the kid and heard some good things about him, was looking forward to seeing if Nix could be a solid starter but it appears he's totally out of his depth. Time to move on I feel.

It all depends on how he's healed up from his torn ACL.

We were interested in him during the offseason but I doubt we make any changes soon.

Looks like little Wiz will be fit and should start against the Steelers. Could be a nice psychological boost for Pryor and the OL. We may even get Pashos back:

Good find, we need Wiz back really bad, his absence has hurt the team.

While not athletically dominating clearly Wiz has a high football IQ. Have we finally realized his value at C or are we still holding out for a switch back to LG? (not directed at anyone in particular)

Or he's smarter at playing center than a guy named Breisel. Gurode at C wasn't bad, as a matter of fact it was on par with Lil Wiz.

Not to diss Wiz but he was a solid LG, better than what he's shown at C. He's a versatile & very valuable football player. That's his value. Not his ability to solely play center because quite frankly, he's not impressive.

Glad to have him back though, he's smart like you said.
