Given that I work from home... yeah, I'd give him my hip. Got work, plus GTA, soon to be CoD... yeah, I'll manage.

But I'd rather Locker just man up McNair style and go out there and win us a ballgame.

I love him so much I probably won't watch another offensive catastrophe until he comes back. Jake is clearly the life of this offense.

I'd rather him not risk his future like McNair.

Exactly.

Honestly, without a running game we are not a playoff team, plain and simple. We are the opposite of what we wanted to be on offense.

Rest Jake until after the bye. Make sure he's fully healed.

Don't need a running game in this day and age of the NFL.

Don't agree with that. Healthy Jake we're almost certainly 4-2 right now, with a real shot at 5-2 heading into the bye. Coming out with games against the Rams, Jags, Colts, Raiders, I think we could easily be a playoff team with solid QB play.

I think we win, but not as convincingly as some think. Us without a running game is slowly eating away at us.

Let's see.....

5 plays 10 yards - Punt
9 plays 72 yards - FG (Anomaly).
1 play 0 yards - INT
9 plays 24 yards - Punt
7 plays 3 yards - Downs
1 play 0 yards - End of half (Doesn't count).
3 plays 2 yards - Punt
5 plays 31 yards - Punt
1 play 0 yards - INT
14 plays 69 yards - (Game is over and Seahawks playing a little softer).

All in all that is two drives of any significance and only half of them (And one of them barely) even getting into double figure yardage.

So that's 55 plays for a grand total of 211 yards of offence for a grand total of 3.8 yards per play.

Yes I love Jake Locker, very much so indeed, please come back soon.

But having a legitimate passing game creates a better running game. Obviously we are used to the opposite, but I think it can work both ways.

I've just been watching a bunch of Jake videos on youtube, and man, I cannot wait for him to come back. I just hope that he does really well in practice this week and is ready to go whenever the doctors clear him. I am ready to get this Titans train rolling again all the way into the playoffs and beyond with Jake at the helm!

Wrong...run game will always be relevant and necessary, especially when you have more and more "mobile qb's" entering the league who don't always have the proper quarterback aptitude.
